BIOGRAFIA:

Luis Zavaleta nació en Lima – Perú, estudió en el Colegio San Agustín en San Isidro - Lima. Es un arquitecto graduado en la prestigiosa Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) – Perú.

Luis es un profesional con más de 30 años de experiencia en el campo de la arquitectura. Su versatilidad y destreza le permite trabajar de manera independiente, asociado y/o para otras firmas de arquitectura. Todo este conjunto de conocimientos y maestría le permitió desarrollar  diversos proyectos tanto en Perú como en USA.

En Perú, como cofundador de la firma AEQUUS ejecutó múltiples proyectos residenciales y comerciales. Asimismo, compartió su conocimiento profesional con jóvenes universitarios, desempeñándose como docente en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UNI (FAUA-UNI).

En USA, trabajó para diversas compañías:

• BAB Architects, en el desarrollo de proyectos residenciales, institucionales, comerciales. De igual manera, en edificaciones tanto en el área de salud como educativa.

• YTA Architecture, participó en numerosas remodelaciones, adiciones para construcciones en el área educativa y comercial.

• Rogue Architecture, trabajó en diseño y desarrollo de muchas edificaciones para bancos y otros tipos de edificios. 

• Junto a Eduardo Carrion diseño y desarrollo variadas tipologias arquitectonicas.

• Junto a Leandra Pszeniczny diseño y desarrollo variadas tipologias arquitectonicas.

Tiempo libre: Luis juega tenis desde sus épocas universitarias. Además, es un gran aficionado a los partidos de soccer y fútbol americano. Disfruta mucho de la temporada de los NFL Play-offs.

BIOGRAPHY:

Luis Zavaleta was born in Lima, Peru, where he attended San Agustin High School in San Isidro. He studied architecture and graduated from the prestigious National University of Engineering (UNI) in Peru.

Luis has by now accrued over 30 years of professional experience as an architect. His versatility and skills allow him to work independently, as an associate, and/or for other architectural firms. Luis’ extensive knowledge and expertise have enabled him to successfully develop various projects in both Peru and the USA.

In Peru, as co-founder of the firm AEQUUS, he executed multiple residential and commercial projects. Likewise, he shared his professional knowledge with young university students, working as a teacher at the UNI Faculty of Architecture (FAUA-UNI).

In the USA, he worked for various companies:

• BAB Architects – developing residential, institutional, and commercial projects, as well as buildings in the health and educational sectors

• YTA Architecture – involvement in numerous renovation projects and extensions for educational and commercial buildings

• Rogue Architecture – working on the design and development of many bank buildings and other types of structures.

• Also collaborating with Eduardo Carrion on designing and developing various architectural typologies

• Also collaborating with Leandra Pszeniczny on designing and developing various architectural typologies

Free time: Luis has played tennis since his university days. Additionally, he is a huge fan of soccer and American football. He greatly enjoy the NFL Play-offs season.
